Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. in Geneva is welcoming this exhibition for two weeks. Serge Robin (CEO and General Manager of Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A.) commented: "We are proud to be able to share this exhibition with our clients, employees as well as the Swiss community". The exhibition is part of the Bank Swiss onshore initiative as a first step towards opening a dialogue with women in Switzerland.
Women of the World is a tribute to women and answers the question "What image represent women?. The exhibition that contains 177 pieces of art made by women from 177 different countries around the world has touched many with its diversity that is also found in the chosen techniques of expression, which include local craft such as textile and carpet work, as well as drawings, photographs and collages.
Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. previous engagement in art has been in collaboration with Christies, Fondation Beyeler and "Centre d'art contemporain" in Geneva where we sponsored the exhibition "Conversation Pieces" with art pieces only made by Swiss artists.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday 29 September from 2.00pm to 6.00pm and on Tuesday, October 2nd from 3.00pm to 7.00pm Location: Villa Saugy in Genthod/Geneva
